Grab lorry hire

North West Grab Hire offers grab lorry hire or muck away services throughout Lancashire and the wider North West region, ideal for clearing sites of large volumes of inert waste, from building rubble to earth and soil.

A grab truck can attend site and load your waste without the inconvenience of skips and other equipment remaining on site. This also means that there's no requirement for skip permits and you can avoid the backbreaking work of loading a skip by hand. Our vehicles have a 7-metre reach which allows operation on sites with difficult access, and with a capacity of 16.5-tonnes per lorry we can remove large volumes of waste in a single visit. No barrowing or heavy lifting—simply book a grab wagon and we'll do the rest.

Grab hire vs. skip hire

  • Grab wagons have large, 16.5-tonne capacity tipper bodies.
  • Vehicle doesn't have to remain on site.
  • No need to request a skip permit from the local authority.
  • Can operate on difficult to access sites.
  • Able to reach over low walls, fencing and hedgerows.

Types of waste we can remove

We are able to remove various types of inert waste and typically attend sites to remove excavated earth or building rubble from small-scale demolition projects. We can also remove garden waste provided that it's separated from other material.

  • Earth, soil, muck and clay
  • Bricks and concrete
  • Recyclable materials i.e. hardcore
  • Building rubble
  • Garden and tree waste

So if you require a quick and affordable method of disposing of large volumes of waste, just pile it up and give us a call—our friendly team will be able to advise you on the best solution for your project depending on the volume of waste and conditions on site.

Concrete blocks

We produce interlocking wall blocks at our facility in Burnley. Inexpensive and versatile, our concrete blocks can be used without bonding agent to construct both permanent and temporary structures, including retaining walls and storage bays.
